Vitamin D, in its active form of D3 or cholecalciferol, has been implicated in the regulation of T-cell activity, prevention of osteoporosis, and suppression of disease progression in multiple sclerosis. Several studies have also implicated a low Vitamin D level in the possible etiopathogenesis of multiple sclerosis.
